Steering Joint:
Automobiles run, turn and stop. “Turn” in these basic functions is undertaken by “steering joint” as safety-critical part. This mechanism is required with higher specifications and endurance every time automobiles improve overall quality along with the safety and driving comfort. Introduction of EPS increases demands for ruggedness. GMB developed the precision, high performance and longer endurance with designed clearance and ruggedness by cold forming spiders. Performance of steering joint also depends on the counterpart, yoke/housing. GMB collaborates with customers to optimize the setting required by car manufacturers and yoke specs.
